Gildan has brought great honor to his region through his achievements at the National Community Sports Festival or FORNAS VII 2023 in Bandung, West Java, on Tuesday, July 4, 2023.
Gildan achieved a perfect achievement in the HBA Supersemar Fespati category and brought home the gold medal.
Gildan revealed that the sport he participated in requires accuracy and speed while riding a horse and aiming at targets using arrows. This achievement is his first. “Alhamdulillah, this is the first time I have participated in this prestigious championship, thanks to the support of my parents and coaches who have always supported me. I feel grateful to be able to raise the name of my hometown,” said Gildan.
This Santri from Pondok Pesantren Safinatunnajah Cinangka also stated that his horse named Dirja has helped him achieve this prestigious achievement. “Dirja is a KP horse, which is a crossbred horse from Australia,” he explained.
