CCN, Cilegon. Tuesday, April 18th, 2023, the Mayor of Cilegon, Helldy Agustian launched 25 free homecoming buses for 1,202 travelers.
The event took place at the Cilegon Mayor’s Office. According to Mayor Helldy, this year’s free homecoming program is much bigger than last year, namely only 450 participants and 11 buses provided.
He added that the increase to 25 buses this year would be more beneficial for the community.
Helldy Agustian hopes that this free homecoming program will be well received by the community and that everything will run smoothly. He also reminded Cilegon residents to be careful during the holidays.
One of the participants, Ratnasari from Panggungrawi, expressed her happiness with the free homecoming program. Without it, he would not be able to celebrate Eid with his family in his hometown because of the high cost of transportation.
Another participant, Sulaiman, has participated in the free homecoming program twice and praised this year’s program for providing more facilities such as food, clothes, and even money.
