CCN, Cilegon. The National Committee of Indonesian Youth (KNPI) Cilegon, under the leadership of Chairman Rizki Putra Sandika, held Regional Work Meeting (Rakerda) 1 and a Cyber Dialogue on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at Villa Marina Anyer.
In his address, Rizki Putra Sandika expressed that KNPI Cilegon is ready to formulate pro-people programs.
“Rakerda 1 will gather ideas and proposals from each deputy chairman, and programs directly impacting the youth and the people of Cilegon will be formulated,” he stated.
Also present at the event were the Chairman of DPRD Cilegon, Isro Miraj, Deputy Mayor of Cilegon, Sanuji Pentamarta, and the Director of Criminal Investigation Unit of Banten Regional Police (Wadirkrimsus Polda Banten), AKBP Sigit Haryono, as well as representatives from Cipayung Plus Kota Cilegon, Youth Organizations (OKP), and DPK KNPI Kota Cilegon.
Isro Miraj mentioned that the legislative body, DPRD Cilegon, has established regulations in the form of a Regional Regulation (Perda) on youth. He also proposed to the City Government to construct a Youth Center in Seruni.
“The Youth Regulation has been initiated by the DPRD. Plans and budgets for the Youth Center have been made. It only requires execution by the executive branch. We hope there will be a facility for youth activities from various organizations in Seruni,” Isro said.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Mayor of Cilegon, Sanuji Pentamarta, appreciated the administration of KNPI Cilegon.
“The youth gathering here today, together with KNPI Cilegon, will become leaders in the future, and the demographic bonus will be a strength for the coming years,” Sanuji said.
AKBP Sigit Haryono, the Director of Criminal Investigation Unit of Banten Regional Police, who served as the keynote speaker, expressed appreciation for the youth initiatives in Cilegon.
“Even before Rakerda, the KNPI Cilegon members had organized a clean water distribution program that directly benefited drought-affected communities. After Rakerda, it’s important to strengthen information, coordination, and collaboration,” AKBP Sigit stated.
During the Cyber Dialogue event, hosted by Uchan Dug and featuring various speakers, including Okto Fajar Nugraha from the Cyber Unit of Banten Regional Police, Fauzi Albarra, CEO of BCO Media and a renowned trainer from Cilegon, and Agung from the Electoral Commission of Cilegon.”
