CCN, Cilegon – Cilegon City was filled with enthusiasm and unity as the Ministry of Religious Affairs celebrated its 78th Public Service Day. The event, themed ‘Great Indonesia Together with the Community,’ took place at Cilegon City Square, creating a moment of dedication and solidarity among civil servants, officials, and the religious community on Wednesday, January 3, 2024.
The theme carries profound significance, marking the pivotal point in commemorating the establishment of the Ministry of Religious Affairs on January 3, 1946.
The ceremony included the presentation of the Satya Lencana Karya Satya (SLKS) awards to employees with 10, 20, and 30 years of service. SLKS is a presidential honor recognizing loyalty, dedication, skill, honesty, discipline, and work achievements among civil servants.
Cilegon Mayor Heldi Agustian, serving as the Ceremony Supervisor, urged an increase in the spirit of dedication. Heldi Agustian also delivered the Minister of Religious Affairs’ address.
Head of the Religious Affairs Office in Cilegon, Lukmanul Hakim, explained regular programs and Seven Priority Programs. The Ministry continues its efforts in religious moderation, digital transformation, revitalizing District Religious Offices (KUA), independence of Islamic boarding schools, Cyber Islamic University, Religiousity Index, and the Year of Religious Harmony.
Lukmanul Hakim emphasized that providing the best services to all religious communities is the key to achieving a great Indonesia. The diverse uniforms worn during the Public Service Day not only reflect the uniqueness of each individual but also portray the spirit of diversity valued in society.
“By wearing different uniforms, the Ministry not only strengthens its identity but also becomes a platform for celebrating diversity as a positive asset,” Lukmanul Hakim said.
