CCN, Cilegon – The 12th-grade students of SMAN 2 Krakatau Steel (KS) Cilegon showcased remarkable creativity during the P5 Exhibition held on Wednesday, October 23, 2024. This event was part of the Edu Fair and Literacy Festival, organized to commemorate Language Month and introduce Private Universities to students from grades 10 to 12.
At this event, the students presented an impressive innovation in the form of a digital bulletin board. Their work was no longer displayed in the conventional way but instead featured on banners with barcodes. Visitors could easily scan the barcodes using their smartphones to access various projects from the Strengthening the Profile of Pancasila Students Program (P5).
The Principal of SMAN 2 KS Cilegon, Dadan Amdani, stated that the digital bulletin board reflects the students’ ability to keep pace with technological advancements.
“Their creativity is outstanding. This digital bulletin board is proof that our students are forward-thinking, not only in creating projects but also in considering how these projects can be accessed digitally. This is a step that deserves recognition,” said Dadan during the event.
Erwina, the Chairperson of the event, explained that the P5 Exhibition was designed as a platform for students to showcase their learning outcomes, with the theme ‘Technological Engineering for Building the Republic of Indonesia.’ She also mentioned that while this exhibition was just a small part of the Edu Fair and Literacy Festival, the enthusiasm from students and visitors was very high.
“Many were curious and delighted by the digital bulletin board. They just needed to scan the barcodes to view the students’ work. The response has been positive, and we plan to hold even larger events in the future,” Erwina remarked.
The excitement among visitors was evident from the large number of participants scanning the barcodes provided. In addition to gaining easy access to the displayed works, they also enjoyed the interactive and modern experience.
The P5 Exhibition at SMAN 2 KS Cilegon became a highlight of this year’s Edu Fair and Literacy Festival, demonstrating how students are capable of creating innovations in line with technological developments. This exhibition also showcased the school’s ongoing efforts to support the students’ evolving creativity.
“We hope this initiative will inspire the current 12th-grade students, as well as those in grades 10 and 11, to continue producing even more innovative projects in the future,” concluded Dadan. (*/Red)
