CCN, Serang (27/01/2023) -Organizing festivals as a series of processes in the creative industry is an important benchmark for regional progress. If the region can encourage good and scheduled festivals and events, it will help regional “branding” to be better.
The Banten Creative Festival (BCF), which has successfully held three previous events, in Ramadan 2023 will be back with the title “Banten Creative Fest on Ramadhan 2023” which will be held for 6 days starting April 13th to 19th 2023 in the West Alun-Alun of Serang City.
M. Irfan, the founder of BCF said in a press release, that this activity is the 4th time it has been held in Serang, the spirit of collaboration is the main basis for implementing this activity, where all creative economy actors are not only the fashion sector, but other sectors such as music, culinary, graphic design, photography, videography, media, advertising to content creators will feel the positive impact of this activity.
Furthermore, the man who is familiarly called Koyonk expressed the latest ideas in organizing this year.
“This time, we are further strengthening the broader collaborative idea by holding it in two cities at once, namely in Serang and Tangerang at almost the same time, besides continuing to display regional cultural arts such as debus, silat, regional dances, we will also involve local illustrators to make the event’s logo more attractive. BCF is arguably Eid for creative children,” said Koyonk.
“Alhamdulillah, today we have completed the administrative requirements that we must fulfill according to regulations to carry out this activity. Starting from permitting the place, security, and other administrative requirements. We are optimistic that this activity can have a positive impact on the community and the creative ecosystem in Banten”
Chairperson of the Banten Fekraf, Andi Suhud Trisnahadi said that activities like this must be supported by various parties, including the regional government as the policymakers.
“Implementing the Festival is an important moment in a series of creative industry processes. The Festival is an important ‘benchmark’ for a city, the progress of the creative industry can be measured from here,” said Andi.

Because through this activity the economic vibrancy and creative vibrancy of the young people can be directly felt. The BCF Press Conference was held on Friday afternoon (27/1/2023) at the Umah Kite Cafe Takakan Serang, present speaker, M. Irfan as the founder of BCF, from elements of the City Government, Subagyo as Regional Assistant 1 Serang, then Andi Suhud Trisnahadi as General Chair of the Banten Creative Economy Forum (FEKRAF). This activity was attended by journalists from various media, clothing brand representatives, creative communities, musicians to influencers.
