CCN. Cilegon – A total of 300 teachers from various private schools in Cilegon City attended an educational seminar during a networking forum held at Al Khairiyah Multipurpose Building on Saturday, June 3, 2023.
With the theme “The Role of Private Schools in Creating a Smart, Modern, and Dignified Cilegon City,” this networking forum provided an opportunity for private schools in Cilegon City to establish strong connections. The event involved private schools ranging from preschools, primary schools, to junior high schools.
Heni Anita Susila, the Head of the Education Department, expressed her delight in the successful organization of the event. “Alhamdulillah, today’s event organized by the Private School Forum of Cilegon City is exceptional and the first of its kind. We highly appreciate this activity and extend our congratulations and gratitude to the Private School Forum,” she said.
During the event, the Chairman of PB Al Khairiyah, along with the Mayor, emphasized, “We hope that this forum will not end here. In the future, the Private School Forum can become a discussion group where teachers can provide input to the Education Department regarding educational issues in Cilegon City. We aim to accommodate the suggestions from private school teachers within the framework of applicable regulations.”
The Chairman of PB Al Khairiyah also highlighted the important role of private schools in educating the young generation of Indonesia. “Although private schools receive government assistance in the form of grants for infrastructure development and laboratory facilities, they hold the same significance as public schools. Therefore, through the Head of the Education Department, we hope to enhance the existence of private schools in order to educate the fortunate young generation of Indonesia,” he stated.
The educational seminar and networking forum among private schools are expected to strengthen collaboration among private schools in Cilegon City, enhance the quality of education, and contribute positively to the development of education in the region.
