CCN- Griye Creative Al Bantani (Asiatul Jannah Al Bantani Foundation) held a public speaking on education training in the hall of Kelurahan Rawa, Grogol-Cilegon. The provision of public speaking material was delivered by Nurrotul Uyun, Deputy Chairman of the Cilegon City DPRD and moderated by Solhah, Chairwoman of RT 03. (Sunday, 08-21-2022)
The purposes of public speaking as communication are to inform, entertain, share, network, touch emotions, be inspiring or motivating, and move people to act or persuasive.
“This training is part of community service activities. The hope is to always be sensitive to problems in the community and contribute to providing solutions, “said Hairul Akhwan, as chairman of Al Bantani’s Creative Griye.
“We would like to thank Buhaeti as the DPRD, Faturohmi, Chair of Commission II DPRD Cilegon, and Nurrotul Uyun, Deputy Chairperson of the DPRD Cilegon as resource persons who have provided knowledge to high school, vocational, and MAN students organized by Griye Kreatif Albantani through leadership training, leadership, and public speaking,” added Irul.
Public speaking is a soft skill that must be possessed by the younger generation in today’s society, especially in our society that is stepping on 5.0 society. “Speaking in public is something that is usually feared by some participants who take part in the GKA Education training, who do not have confidence and feel a lack of skills in public speaking.
“This lack of confidence is influenced by the lack of mastery of the material presented, appearance, and skills, and I am not used to doing it yet. And I hope that, slowly, the participants will be able to apply it, “said Solhah, the moderator of the public speaking training.”
Nurrotul Uyun, as the Deputy Chair of the DPRD Cilegon as well as a speaker, appreciated Griye Kreatif Al Bantani (GKA), his thoughts and movements empowering human resources around them.
