CCN, Cilegon – Cilegon Government is preparing to celebrate the city’s 24th anniversary on 7-11 May 2023 by holding the Cilegon Fest event. Chairman of the Hut Cilegon Committee, Syafrudin, stated that his party wanted to involve the industry to enliven the commemoration.
Syafrudin revealed this during a readiness evaluation meeting for Cilegon City’s anniversary at the Cilegon City Communications and Informatics Service Hall, Statistics and Coding on Tuesday, April 11, 2023. According to him, involving industry in the 2023 Cilegon Fest could strengthen participation in the event.
In addition, the commemoration of the 24th anniversary of Cilegon City will also host the National Working Meeting of the Association of Indonesian City Governments (Apeksi) which will be held in May. Syafrudin revealed that the Apeksi activity would be an opportunity to introduce Cilegon to the 25 mayors present.
The Mayor of Cilegon, Helldy Agustian, invited the industry to work together to celebrate the anniversary of Cilegon City. He also stated that preparations for the 2023 Cilegon Fest were almost complete and the industrial sector was an important element that needed to be involved.
It is hoped that by involving the industry in Cilegon Fest, the commemoration of the 24th anniversary of Cilegon City can be more lively and have a positive impact on the city and people of Cilegon.
