CCN, Cilegon – The 36th Anniversary Celebration of Kodim 0623 Cilegon was marked by providing social assistance to dozens of orphans as a manifestation of concern for the community. The event took place with joy and warmth in the town square of Cilegon on Friday (24/11/2023).
Lieutenant Colonel Inf Ari Widyo Prasetyo, the Commander of Kodim 0623 Cilegon, conveyed that this activity represents Kodim’s commitment to share happiness, especially with children in need. “The celebration of Kodim’s anniversary, named Cilegon Home Family Fair 2023, is not just a festival but also a manifestation of concern for orphans in the vicinity of Cilegon,” he expressed in an interview with the media.
Dozens of orphans from various areas in Cilegon attended the event, not only receiving assistance in the form of staple food packages but also participating in various engaging activities organized by Kodim 0623 Cilegon at Cilegon’s town square. One of the organized activities was a play area, where orphans could enjoy free access to various attractions, including windmills and other typical attractions found in Indonesian Night Markets.
Sapri Imarullah, a representative of the orphans, expressed gratitude for the assistance received. “Thanks to Kodim 0623 Cilegon for providing this assistance. May Kodim continue to succeed and be able to continually help the community in need,” he said with a happy smile. (red)
