CCN, Banten– To commemorate and advance the Scout Movement, the Youth and Sports Office of Tangerang City organized a grand event titled “Tangerang Kitri Festival.” The event took place from Friday to Sunday, August 23-25, 2024, and was attended by various scout groups from across the Banten region.
On this occasion, MTsN 3 Kota Cilegon achieved remarkable success by winning 1st place in the Scout Percussion category and 2nd place in the Wide Games for Penggalang Scouts. Additionally, the school received a development fund prize of 8 million rupiahs as a token of appreciation for their accomplishments.
The Head of MTsN 3 Kota Cilegon, Nikmat Imanudin, expressed his pride in this achievement. “This success is the result of the hard work of all members of the Scout Movement, as well as the guidance of our Scoutmasters and Trainers at MTsN 3 Kota Cilegon. We are very proud to bring honor to our school and showcase the talents and potential of our students through this scouting activity,” said Nikmat. (Friday, 08-30-2024)
Furthermore, he explained that participation in this festival was not only aimed at winning but also at fostering camaraderie among different scout groups and other madrasas. “Through this event, we aim to provide valuable experiences to our scouts and motivate them to keep practicing diligently and developing themselves in all aspects of scouting,” he added.
The festival also serves as an essential platform for the Scout Movement in shaping the character and mentality of students amidst the challenges of globalization. “Scouting is a vital organization in the formation of the young generation’s character. We hope that through events like this, our children will continue to excel and become resilient individuals,” concluded Nikmat Imanudin.
The Tangerang Kitri Festival is a clear testament that the Scout Movement remains highly relevant and plays a significant role in shaping the next generation of the nation with character and integrity.
