CCN, Cilegon, September 4 th, 2024 — Thousands of residents from Sumur Wuluh neighborhood, Gerem Village, Grogol Subdistrict, Cilegon City, attended a gathering organized by Muhammad Saiful Basri following his inauguration as a member of the Cilegon City DPRD for the 2024-2029 term. The event was also attended by Sahruji, the Chairman of the Cilegon City PPP Branch, and Fajar Hadi Prabowo, the candidate for Deputy Mayor of Cilegon.
In his remarks, Muhammad Saiful Basri emphasized the importance of prudent and transparent management of the Regional Budget (APBD). “The Cilegon City APBD is one of our main focuses. We will ensure that this budget is managed effectively so that the community truly benefits from the development projects carried out,” Basri stated.
Basri also stressed that development should be based on the aspirations of the people. “The government’s vision and mission must align with the needs of the community. We will strive to ensure this happens and commit to voicing the public’s interests in every policy decision,” he added.
He revealed his plans to build synergy with all stakeholders to accelerate the achievement of public interests. “We will focus on fundamental issues such as education, health, and welfare, which are the aspirations we’ve received during the campaign. We believe positive change can be achieved through strong cooperation,” Basri asserted.
On this occasion, Basri also expressed his gratitude to the KPU and Bawaslu for successfully organizing the election, and to Haji Sahruji for mentoring PPP cadres in Cilegon. He also appreciated Fajar Hadi Prabowo as the Deputy Mayor candidate and all of his campaign team members who worked tirelessly to secure victory.
“I am deeply grateful to all parties who have supported and fought for our victory, as well as to all the citizens who have placed their trust in us. Let us continue to strive for a better life for ourselves and future generations,” Basri concluded.
This gathering is expected to strengthen the relationship between the newly inaugurated DPRD members and the community and reaffirm their commitment to working diligently for the public’s interests.(Ahdi)
