CILEGON – Several performers and managers of cultural arts in Pabean Village held a gathering, Saturday (21/1/2023) evening.
The Gathering Forum, which was initiated by the Head Urban village of Pabean Nurul Hadiyati, was enthusiastically attended by some Cultural Arts Actors and Managers, Community Leaders, Religious Leaders, Representatives of the Purwakarta Police Chief, Babinsa and Babinkamtibmas in the Pabean.
“Alhamdulillah, they are very enthusiastic about welcoming the Cultural Village in Pabean.”
Nurul continued, Pabean was designated as a Cultural Village by the Mayor of Cilegon based on no. SK : 140/Kep.281-dindik/2022 concerning the Designation of Pabean, Purwakarta Sub District as a Cultural Village.
“It was not decided yet, but previously it had gone through stages, a long process of struggle that had been passed,” she explained.
Since 2017, said Nurul, Pabean has begun to be targeted and has become the center of attention of stakeholders in the Cilegon Government because of its natural nature and cultural arts.
“Grateful that the authenticity of the culture of Arts and Culture in the Pabean Sub-District is maintained, so what we do preserve is what we don’t have, we will try to dig it up again so that it remains sustainable, if we don’t, who will we?” said the head of Pabean.
Meanwhile, Hasidi Pabean Cultural Arts activists welcomed the Cultural Village program.
He said, in the cold hands of the head of Pabean who had only served for a long time, he was able to create self-sufficiency in the customs village community.
“Not long after serving as the head of Pabean, she was able to raise the name of the Pabean in Purwakarta sub-district on the surface with the many awards she received at the city, provincial, and even national levels,” he explained.
He believes that in the next three or four years the Pabean area will become a tourist and cultural visit area and God willing, it will bring blessings to the Pabean.
“In the future, God willing, Pabean will be the center of attention of both local and foreign tourists, so that in the future Pabean will become a living area, both in terms of the economy and other sectors,” explained Hasidi.
Because according to him there are five Basic Assets that must be built namely Human Resources, Natural Resources, Social Assets, Infrastructure Assets, and Financial.
“Sometimes people look at the financial assets to build this Cultural Village, where did the funds come from? How much money? But, if we want to mobilize all the assets in this sub-district, it will materialize, according to the Customs Village tagline, namely #Let’s Move Together,” he concluded.
