Suggestion and Offer (sugesti dan tawaran) adalah cara-cara untuk menyampaikan ide atau ajakan kepada orang lain dengan tujuan mengajak mereka untuk melakukan sesuatu atau menerima tawaran. Berikut adalah pengertian dari keduanya:
Sugesti (Suggestion):
Sugesti merujuk pada penyampaian ide, saran, atau pendapat dengan tujuan memberikan ide atau alternatif kepada orang lain. Ekspresi sugesti digunakan untuk merangsang pemikiran atau tindakan positif dari pihak yang mendengar. Dalam situasi ini, bahasa yang digunakan biasanya bersifat ringan dan menghormati, menekankan kebebasan orang lain untuk menerima atau menolak saran tersebut.
Tawaran (Offer):
Tawaran merujuk pada penyampaian kemungkinan untuk memberikan bantuan, barang, atau jasa kepada orang lain. Ekspresi tawaran digunakan untuk menunjukkan kesiapan atau kemauan untuk memberikan atau melakukan sesuatu. Bahasa yang digunakan dalam tawaran biasanya bersifat ramah dan sopan, memberikan ruang bagi penerima tawaran untuk menentukan apakah mereka ingin menerima atau menolak.
Sebagai makhluk sosial kita akan selalu berhubungan dengan orang lain. Dalam berhubungan atau bersosialisasi tersebut kadang–kadang ada yang meminta saran, nasihat, pertolongan, dan ada yang menawarkan jasa atau bantuan. Di dalam belajar bahasa Inggris diajarkan cara memberi saran dan menawarkan sesuatu serta cara meresponnya dengan cara yang santun.
Aplikasi Pembelajaran dalam Kehidupan
Dalam hubungan dengan sesama manusia ( hablu minanaas ) kita sering meminta saran atau memberi saran kepada orang lain.Kita juga sering memberi tawaran atau menawarkan jasa/bantuan atau barang kepada orang lain. Cara kita berinteraksi menyampaikan saran/tawaran, menerima atau menolak secara formal maupun informal akan dibahas pada saat ini.
Saran atau tawaran yang dilakukan oleh seseorang ada yang formal dan informal. Dalam apilkasi kehidupan sehari hari ,saran dan tawaran yang diharapkan hendaknya yang sopan atau dengan akhlak yang baik.
Integrasi Keislaman dalam pembelajaran
Dalam agama Islam saling menyarankan dan memberi informasi diharapakan untuk saling tolong menolong dalam kebaikan.
Allah SWT bersabda:
”Dan tolong-menolong lah kamu dalam kebaikan dan ketakwaan. Dan janganlah tolong-menolong dalam berbuat dosa dan pelanggaran. Dan bertakwa lah kamu kepada Allah, sesungguhnya siksa Allah sangat berat.” (Surat Al-Maidah ayat 2)
