CCN, Serang (16/04/2023) – Chairman of the Indonesia Creative City Network (ICCN) Tubagus Fiki C Satari paid a visit to Banten Province with the ICCN central board. Fiki, who is also known as the owner of the Airplane System Clothing brand and Founder of Kickfest Bandung, took the time to stop and break his fast in the Banten Creative Festival X Pasar Murah area, Serang City Square.
Previously, this man of Banten blood who was born in Bandung 47 years ago, who is now the Commissioner of Angkasa Pura II and the Special Staff of the Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises, made a pilgrimage to the grave of his late grandfather, who is also a Banten hero, Major Tubagus Syafe’i, at the Serang City Heroes Cemetery.
Upon arriving at BCF, Fiki and the management of the Indonesia Creative City Network Center were welcomed by the founder of BCF, M. Irfan along with Korda ICCN Banten, Andi Suhud, and other ICCN Banten administrators touring the Banten Creative Festival x Cheap market event which took place at Alun-alun Barat Serang. During his visit, Fiki really appreciated this activity. He said that the creativity of local youth must continue to be supported.
“I really appreciate and fully support the activities organized by creative young people, moreover this promotes local products, apart from developing creativity, this event is also able to move the wheels of the economy,” said Fiki
Fiki also said that an event like this BCF should have the courage to expand outside the Banten region, as an effort to introduce local products from Banten’s creative economy doers.
“I think the Banten Creative Fest is appropriate to be held outside Banten, seeing the event here, I am confident and optimistic that the Banten Creative Fest is appropriate to be held outside Banten.” he continued
After visiting BCF, Fiki, and ICCN management accompanied by Korda ICCN Banten continued the discussion with creative economy doers, MSME players, and Banten creative economy figures, which was also attended by Dr. Aceng Hasani M. Pd Deputy Chancellor 4 for Relations and Cooperation at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. The discussion took place at the Saba Backyard Cafe & Resto, Serang City Wall. Conversations about the creative economy, local issues, and national issues flowed intimately.
Aceng as Warek 4 Untirta welcomed the idea that emerged from this discussion, namely the idea of a Creative Campus.
“I welcome the ideas that emerged tonight, indeed today’s campus must be able to accommodate creativity from all levels of society so that students can then express themselves and play a role in society. In the end, creative activities can raise the name of the campus,” said Aceng.
The Banten Creative Fest x Pasar Murah event is still running until April 19, 2023, the event which involves local creative economy doers continues to run in order to move the wheels of the economy in Banten.
