CCN, CILEGON – The declaration of the mayoral and vice-mayoral candidates of Cilegon, Robinsar and Fajar, backed by nine political parties, took place in grand and thunderous fashion.
The declaration event for the young leaders of Cilegon, Robinsar and Fajar Hadi Prabowo, was held at the Mangkuputra Hotel Ballroom this afternoon, Thursday, August 29, 2024.
Robinsar-Fajar has officially secured the B1KWK endorsement from nine political parties: Golkar, PPP, Democrat, PDI-Perjuangan, Gelora, Labor Party, PKN, Ummat, and Perindo, as their ticket to run in the 2024 Cilegon Election.
The declaration of Robinsar-Fajar as the mayoral and vice-mayoral candidates was attended by thousands of citizens. They were eager to see and get to know their prospective regional leaders more closely.
The enthusiasm of the crowd was palpable as the young pair, Robinsar-Fajar, entered the room, greeted by cheers from thousands of participants, making the event even more electrifying.
“Who are we? Robin-Fajar, Robin-Fajar, win, win, win,” chanted the attendees, spilling out of the building.
The declaration was opened with a political speech by the Chairperson of the Cilegon Golkar DPD, Ratu Ati Marliati. On this occasion, Ratu Ati remarked that Indonesia is currently experiencing a demographic bonus, which is why Golkar Party is endorsing the young duo, Robinsar-Fajar, to run in the 2024 election.
“We are putting forward young people who are brave enough to step up and, God willing, be productive, to address and provide solutions to the challenges facing Cilegon in the future,” said Ratu Ati.
Ratu Ati emphasized that Golkar Party is serious about the pair they are endorsing. The party’s entire infrastructure will be mobilized, with Golkar’s network and supporters spread throughout Cilegon ready to secure victory for Robinsar-Fajar.
This sentiment was echoed by the leaders of other political parties during the declaration’s political speeches. For example, the Chairman of Cilegon’s PPP branch, Sahruji, emphasized that the Robinsar-Fajar pair must be able to create job opportunities to improve the economic conditions.
“This is a crucial task that needs to be undertaken,” he said.
Supporting parties also expressed the same confidence in Robinsar-Fajar’s ability as young leaders to tackle and address the challenges that the people of Cilegon will face in the future.
Separately, one of the youths attending the declaration, Abdur Rohim, stated that the presence of the young Robinsar-Fajar duo in the 2024 election provides new hope for Cilegon in meeting the basic needs of the community.
“Cilegon currently needs young energy to navigate the changing times. Robinsar-Fajar represents us, the youth, and brings new hope to the people of Cilegon,” he said.
Meanwhile, in their political speech, Robinsar and Fajar refrained from making grand promises. For them, the demographic bonus, where young people are the backbone of the nation, should be leveraged to showcase their capabilities.
“Being young doesn’t mean having an empty mind, it doesn’t mean lacking insight, it doesn’t mean being incapable. Youth is the energy that can change the world,” declared Robinsar and Fajar passionately. (*)
