CCN, Lebak. Budi Susanto, the Secretary of the Lebak Regency, was officially inaugurated as the Chairman of the Indonesia Offroad Federation (IOF) Lebak Branch on Saturday, July 22, 2023.
The inauguration of Budi was conducted in person by the Chairman of the Banten Regional IOF, Muhammad Ato, at the Lebak Regency Hall, witnessed by other officials.
During the event, Budi conveyed his commitment to support the theme “Building Lebak Together” and expressed readiness to collaborate with the Lebak Regency Government, especially in the fields of tourism, disaster management, and other social programs.
Budi also expressed his gratitude to the Lebak Regency Government for their support in establishing the IOF Lebak Branch.
“I also want to thank all the collaborating partners who have worked hard to make this inauguration possible in a short period of just three weeks,” said Budi.
Furthermore, Budi stated that IOF Lebak would continue to play an active role in assisting the community, just as the Banten Regional IOF did during the disaster that struck Lebak in 2020.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Banten Regional IOF, Muhammad Ato, hoped that with the establishment of the IOF Lebak Branch, coordination in disaster management efforts in the Lebak region would become more effective and efficient.
“Some time ago, there was an unexpected incident in the Lebak region, but with the teamwork over four months, we managed to build an emergency bridge, and the Lebak Regency Government provided tremendous support at that time,” said Muhammad Ato.
He also invited all offroad clubs in Lebak to actively participate in every disaster event that occurs.
