In an atmosphere full of togetherness, various social and religious activities have been carried out by the residents of Tegal Wangi Lawas, Cilegon, in welcoming Eid al-Adha. The highlight of the celebration is the process of sacrificing qurban animals, carried out in an orderly manner and in accordance with the Islamic Sharia.

At Al Munawaroh Mosque in Tegal Wangi Lawas, Cilegon, hundreds of Muslims gathered to perform the Eid al-Adha prayer. The Imam of Al Munawaroh Mosque, H. Buhaeti Romli, reminded the congregation about the meaning and values ​​contained in the sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and Prophet Ismail (AS). He also emphasized the importance of sincerity and piety in worship, as well as the importance of sharing blessings with others.

After the prayer, the congregants proceeded with the activity of sacrificing the qurban animals. Various animals such as cows, buffaloes, and goats were carefully prepared for the sacrifice. The qurban committee, consisting of the Management of DKM Al Munawaroh, volunteers, and experienced personnel, carried out the sacrificial process carefully and in accordance with the provisions of Islamic Sharia. The qurban meat was then distributed to those in need.

“In the spirit of togetherness and compassion, the distribution of qurban meat is expected to share with one another in the community. May our acts of worship be accepted by Allah SWT and bring blessings to us all,” said H. Buhaeti Romli, a community figure from Grogol, Cilegon.

The activities of Eid al-Adha and the sacrifice of qurban animals in Tegal Wangi Lawas, Cilegon, this year reaffirm the spirit of togetherness, compassion, and sacrifice of Muslims in spreading goodness to others.
