CCN, Cilegon, August 31, 2025 – The election for Chairman of RW 06, Rawa Arum Subdistrict, Grogol District, Cilegon City, held on Saturday (31/8), took place smoothly, orderly, and democratically. Residents showed high enthusiasm in this grassroots democratic event.
Based on the official vote count, Alfin Darojat secured the most support with 426 votes, defeating Kusmaryanto with 339 votes and Khaerul Ahwan with 186 votes. Out of a total of 961 votes cast, 10 were declared invalid.
With this result, Alfin was officially elected as Chairman of RW 06 for the 2025 term. In his remarks, he expressed gratitude and appreciation for the trust given by the community.
“This is a great mandate that I must uphold. I am committed to continuing the existing positive programs and to strengthening unity and mutual cooperation in RW 06. Let us work together to build a more advanced and harmonious neighborhood,” he stated.
Appreciation for the election process also came from a Tegalwangi resident, Nafis, who praised the transparent and conducive proceedings.
“Alhamdulillah, the election went smoothly. Hopefully, the elected chairman can embrace all residents without distinction and always prioritize consensus in every decision,” he said.
Congratulations were also conveyed by Kg. Saefullah, representing himself, his family, and the local community.
“On behalf of myself, my family, and the community, I extend my congratulations to our brother, Alfin Darojat, on being elected Chairman of RW 06. May Allah grant him ease in carrying out the responsibilities entrusted by the people. Aamiin, aamiin ya rabbal alamin,” said Kg. Saefullah.
Overall, residents viewed the RW 06 election as open and democratic, serving as concrete evidence of the community’s maturity in practicing democracy at the neighborhood level.(***)
