CCN, CILEGON – In celebration of the 79th Bhayangkara Day, the Cilegon Police Department held the Bhayangkara Fun Run 5K on Sunday, July 27, 2025, starting at 6:00 AM in front of the Cilegon Police Headquarters on Jenderal Sudirman Street No. 15.
The event attracted thousands of runners from various backgrounds, both local residents and participants from other regions. Open to the public, registration was conducted online through the official website and had reached full capacity by July 15, 2025.
In addition to the 5K run, the organizing committee also hosted side events such as group aerobics and a 100-meter sprint competition, creating a lively and spirited atmosphere of unity between the police and the community.
According to the Head of the Organizing Committee, Second Police Inspector Eka Rifka, the event served as a platform for the people of Cilegon to engage in sports together and strengthen community ties.
“We hope the public takes part so that the bond between the police and the community becomes even closer,” he said.
Registered participants received exclusive jerseys, finisher medals, and BIB numbers. A lucky draw with a variety of attractive prizes was also held for those who joined the race.
