CCN, Cilegon – Residents of RT 01/06 held a community meeting to elect the new neighborhood head (RT) and youth leader on Saturday (September 20, 2025). The meeting, which took place at Al Munawaroh Mosque, Link. Tegal Wangi Lawas, resulted in the election of Deden Sunendar as Head of RT 01/06, while Endang Kurniawan was entrusted as the Youth Leader of RT 01/06.
The community meeting concluded with a consensus decision. Residents openly extended their congratulations to the two newly elected leaders.
“On behalf of myself, my family, and the community, I would like to congratulate Mr. Deden Sunendar on being elected as Head of RT 01 and Mr. Endang Kurniawan on being elected as Youth Leader of RT 01. May this mandate bring the community toward a better future,” said Saefullah, Chairman of the Al Munawaroh Mosque Board (DKM).
In his remarks, newly elected RT Head Deden Sunendar expressed his gratitude for the trust given by the residents.
“I sincerely thank the residents for the trust they have placed in me. This mandate is certainly not an easy one, but with unity and the support of the entire community, God willing, we can carry it out well. I humbly ask for guidance from community leaders and residents so that we may always remain on the right path. Let us work hand in hand to build a harmonious, united, and progressive neighborhood for the good of all,” said Deden.
A similar sentiment was conveyed by H. Buhaeti Romli, community leader and member of the Cilegon City Council (DPRD):
“I highly appreciate the RT 01/06 community meeting, which was carried out in a spirit of togetherness. The election of the new RT Head and Youth Leader proves that the people of Rawaarum possess not only a democratic spirit but also a strong sense of brotherhood.
The strength of a neighborhood does not lie solely in who leads it but in the solidarity and unity of all its residents. If we support one another and work together, God willing, this community will become a harmonious, safe, and more advanced place.
