Meanwhile, Ahmad, a member of the Indonesian Teachers Association (PGRI) in the Jombang Subdistrict, requested the addition of classrooms at SDN Kranggot, considering the increase in student groups (rombel) over the past five years.
Mayor of Cilegon, Helldy Agustian, responded to the community’s aspirations and invited everyone to be thankful for the increased honorarium for cadres and PAUD teachers. He also emphasized the commitment of the City Government of Cilegon to education and the availability of quality educational facilities.
The Mayor also emphasized that the City Government of Cilegon will promptly consider the proposal to add classrooms at SDN Kranggot, underscoring education as a priority in the effort to achieve Indonesia Emas 2045.
Mayor of Cilegon, Helldy Agustian, requested Wilastri Rahayu, the Head of the City of Cilegon’s Development Planning, Research, and Development Agency (Bappedalitbang), to take note of these matters.
“Regarding the honorarium increase for cadres, I see these cadres as angels with extraordinary sincerity. But I invite everyone to be grateful because the cadres’ honorarium in Cilegon is much higher, reaching Rp300,000 and paid monthly,” he said.
Regarding the increase in honorarium for PAUD and TK teachers, Helldy mentioned that they have already been raised from Rp450,000 to Rp675,000. This includes religious teachers, for whom we have provided grants from Rp22 billion to Rp33 billion. Likewise, school principals and teachers in remote mountain areas have been taken into account with the hope that their sincerity value also increases,” he added.
In connection with the proposal to add classrooms at SDN Kranggot, Helldy requested Bappedalitbang to take note and follow up on it promptly. He emphasized that the City of Cilegon is highly focused on education, making any funds allocated to it a top priority.
“Education is essential to us. We make every effort for the development of human resources in the City of Cilegon. We must prepare for Indonesia Emas 2045. As for the facilities of primary and secondary schools, we are developing an application so that if there are issues in these schools, they can be reported and processed immediately,” the Mayor added.(red)
