CCN, Cilegon, 29 January 2026 — The Sub-District Executive Board (Dewan Pengurus Kecamatan/DPK) of the Indonesian National Youth Committee (Komite Nasional Pemuda Indonesia – KNPI) of Citangkil Sub-District, together with Cilegon City DPRD member Ayatullah Khumaeni, and accompanied by Kebonsari Urban Village Head Asep Muzayin, assisted the National Zakat Agency (Baznas) of Cilegon City in distributing Uninhabitable Housing (RTLH) assistance to residents of Citangkil Sub-District, Cilegon City.
This activity reflects strong synergy between youth organisations, the legislative body, urban village government, and Baznas in an effort to improve community welfare, particularly for residents in need of decent, safe, and healthy housing.
Chairperson of DPK KNPI Citangkil Sub-District, Akbar Kurniawan, stated that KNPI’s involvement in the activity represents a tangible form of youth participation in supporting social and community-based programmes.
“KNPI Citangkil Sub-District is committed to continuously being present within the community and to serving as a strategic partner to the government and social institutions in assisting residents in need,” he said.
Cilegon City DPRD member Ayatullah Khumaeni expressed his appreciation for the collaboration established between Baznas, KNPI, and the urban village government. He emphasised that such assistance is crucial to ensuring that the RTLH support is distributed accurately and provides real benefits to the recipient communities.
Meanwhile, Kebonsari Urban Village Head Asep Muzayin conveyed his support for the RTLH assistance programme and expressed hope that this cross-sector collaboration would continue in order to further improve the quality of life of residents in his area.
Baznas Cilegon City explained that the RTLH assistance programme forms part of the optimisation of zakat, infaq, and sadaqah funds, aimed at delivering direct and tangible impacts on community welfare.
DPK KNPI Citangkil Sub-District hopes that this activity will serve as a positive example of collaboration between youth organisations, the legislative body, urban village government, and zakat institutions in fostering social care and strengthening community welfare in Cilegon City. (*)
