CCN, Cilegon — The commemoration of the Islamic Holy Day (PHBI) marking the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was held solemnly and in a spirit of togetherness at Al Munawaroh Mosque, Link. Tegalwangi Lawas, Cilegon City, on Monday (September 22, 2025). Hundreds of worshippers filled the mosque, participating in a series of events including hadoroh, marhaban, collective prayers, as well as the distribution of berkat and panjang (food packages) to local residents.

“Alhamdulillah, I am deeply grateful to all the residents who, with great enthusiasm and unity, worked together to prepare for this commemoration of the Prophet’s birth. From preparing the mosque, organizing the hadoroh and marhaban, to distributing berkat and panjang to the surrounding community. May all of these efforts be rewarded as acts of worship,” said H. Buhaiti.
He also extended his apologies for any shortcomings during the event.
“No ivory is without cracks; I sincerely apologize for any imperfections in the organization. God willing, we will continue to improve in holding Islamic events like this,” he added.
Meanwhile, Chairman of the Al Munawaroh Mosque Management Board (DKM), Kg. Saefullah, emphasized that the commemoration of the Prophet’s birth is not merely ceremonial, but a moment to strengthen the community’s love for the Messenger of Allah (PBUH).
“This Maulid Nabi serves as a means to draw closer to Allah SWT, to emulate the Prophet’s noble character, and to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood among residents. Thank you to everyone who contributed. May this spirit of togetherness bring blessings to our community,” stated Kg. Saefullah.
The event, filled with the chanting of shalawat and praises to the Prophet, created a deeply spiritual atmosphere. Children, youth, and elders all joined in, expressing their love for the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) while fostering stronger community ties.
The highlight of the commemoration was the distribution of berkat and panjang food packages to worshippers and residents around the mosque.
