CCN, Thursday 15-09-2022. Based on Permendikbud no. 79 of 2014, mulok is a subject in educational units that includes content and learning processes about local potential and uniqueness. This is intended so that students form their understanding of excellence and wisdom in the area where they live. The Ministry of Education and Culture encourages local governments to design Mulok curricula that are in accordance with the needs and potential of their respective regions.
This activity was attended by the Head of the Cilegon City Education and Culture Office, Heni Anita Susila, the P2PNF Division of the Cilegon City Education Office, Resource Persons participants from Artists and Cultures, Supervisors, Head of SKB and National Tutors, Head of Cilegon SKB and SKB Pamong, Head of Cilegon City IPI and all participant.
Activities for preparing local content curriculum documents for early childhood and non-formal education/equivalence consist of: Kindergarten supervisors, PAUD and Dikmas supervisors in the city of Cilegon, Chair of the PKBM Forum, partner organizations such as PKG, IGTKI and Himpaudi in Cilegon city as well as PKBM managers in Cilegon city and representatives of the Principal State kindergarten in the city of Cilegon. With resource persons Ahdi Zukhruf Amri, Muhammad Rois Rinaldi, H. Holid, Hj. Dede Daryati, Ali Mahtum, and H. Abdul Karim.
In implementing the independent curriculum, educational units can add local content determined by the local government in accordance with local wisdom or regional characteristics through three flexible options. First, developing local content into its own subjects. Second, integrating local content into all subjects, and third, through the Pancasila student profile project.
Head of the Department of Education and Culture of Cilegon, Hj. Heni Anita Susila conveyed in her speech that she hoped that the independence of teachers in planning learning materials could really be utilized as well as possible to instill the noble values of Cilegon Javanese culture and language.
“Sorry for all the shortcomings, hopefully this activity can be useful for all of us in order to strengthen the existence and continuity of the use of the Cilegon Javanese language, so that it becomes a supporting factor for the growth of regional identity and pride and can strengthen the position, function, and Cilegon Javanese language in maintaining local wisdom. in the city of Cilegon that we love,” said the Head of the Education and Culture Office of the city of Cilegon.
On the same occasion, the Head of Early Childhood Education Management and Non-Formal Education or Equality, Vania Eriza said that the use of the Cilegon Javanese language was carried out to strengthen the position of the Cilegon Javanese language as the mother tongue in the Banten province area as well as to become the identity of the city of Cilegon, as well as to improve the function of the Cilegon Javanese language as a second language after Indonesian.
The components of the local content curriculum consist of the name of the subject, core competencies and basic competencies, and to implement the local content curriculum, learning tools are arranged. The learning tools as referred to in paragraph (2) can be in the form of: Syllabus, Annual Program and Semester Programs, Learning Implementation Plans, Student Worksheets, Assessments, Student Books and Teacher Books, Media/learning aids.
“Hopefully, this activity can be useful for all of us. We ask all participants to be able to play an active role in the preparation of the Local Content Curriculum Document for PAUD and Non-Formal/Equality Education,” said the Head of PAUD Management and Non-Formal/Equality Education.
