CCN, CILEGON — Ratu Ati Marliati has once again been elected as the Chairperson of DPD II Golkar Party of Cilegon City at the 6th Regional Conference (Musda VI) of Golkar Cilegon, held at the Grand Mangku Putra Hotel on Wednesday, November 26, 2025.

The former Deputy Mayor of Cilegon was elected by acclamation and will continue to lead the party bearing the banyan tree symbol for the 2025–2030 term.

It is known that Ratu Ati was the sole candidate registered as Chairperson of Golkar during the 4th Musda and was confirmed by acclamation.

After being re-elected, Ratu Ati stated that she would immediately begin forming the new management board of DPD II Golkar Cilegon together with the formateur team.

“In the near future, the formateur will draft the structure; once established, we will hold a consolidation meeting,” said Ratu Ati.

In addition to forming the new leadership structure, Ratu Ati also stated that Golkar Cilegon would soon improve and strengthen the party’s internal capacity in preparation for the upcoming 2029 political contest.

“Since there were aspects from the previous period that were not entirely optimal, we will—using today’s popular term—go all out to reorganize everything, including the party infrastructure,” she said.

Ratu Ati also emphasized that Golkar must take on a more active role and become a political direction for development in Cilegon.

“If we remain mere spectators, we cannot craft pro-people policies. But if we can do so—both in the legislative and executive branches, combined with proper budgeting and execution—I believe the people of Cilegon will enjoy greater prosperity,” she stated.

At the same event, the Chairperson of DPD I Golkar Banten, Andika Hazrumy, expressed his appreciation for the achievements of Golkar Cilegon under Ratu Ati’s first term of leadership, during which the party won both the Legislative Election and the Regional Election in 2024.

Additionally, Andika emphasized the need for Golkar Cilegon to strengthen internal cadres and revitalize membership to achieve the target of 30 percent of votes in the upcoming election.

“I reminded the Chairperson (Ratu Ati) that those who will be recruited and included in the party’s management in Cilegon must be individuals who are loyal, capable of working, and eager to help grow the Golkar Party,” he concluded. (*)
