CCN, CILEGON – The prospective Mayor of Cilegon, Robinsar, has rescued the residents of Kadipaten, Kedaleman Village, Cibeber District, Cilegon City, from the threat of flooding. The residents prayed for Robinsar’s success in being elected as the Mayor of Cilegon in the upcoming 2024 election.
The Cilegon mayoral candidate from the Golkar Party deployed heavy machinery to clean and dredge the Grobogan River, which has been the main cause of flooding in the area.
Residents were amazed and grateful to Robinsar for his efforts in saving them from the threat of flooding.
Robinsar’s quick response began when he was conducting a public outreach in the area, where residents complained about the frequent floods caused by the overflowing Grobogan River.
Upon hearing these complaints, without hesitation, Robinsar took immediate action by deploying an excavator to the Grobogan River.
The heavy machinery then dredged the accumulated silt mixed with trash and sand that had been blocking the river.
A resident named Sunawati expressed that they had always been worried about flooding every time it rained heavily.
Sunawati was moved by Robinsar’s sincerity in responsively deploying heavy machinery to normalize the Grobogan River.
“Thank you, Mr. Robinsar. After this dredging, God willing, there will be no more floods, Alhamdulillah,” she said.
“Whenever it rains heavily, we always get nervous, fearing a flood. Now that the river has been dredged, I’m sure there won’t be any more floods,” she added.
Meanwhile, Hamiji, the Head of RT03/02, Kadipaten Environment, Kedaleman Village, Cibeber District, revealed that the silting of the Grobogan River was the main cause of flooding in the area.
He thanked Robinsar for taking the time to survey the silted areas along the Grobogan River.
“Alhamdulillah, Mr. Robinsar has surveyed the Grobogan River and even had it dredged immediately. Thank you, Mr. Robinsar,” he said.
Separately, the Cilegon mayoral candidate from the Golkar Party, Robinsar, stated that he had surveyed the silted areas along the Grobogan River.
According to Robinsar, the Grobogan River had indeed experienced severe silting.
“The area definitely needs to be normalized as soon as possible,” he said.
It is worth noting that the Grobogan River, which was cleaned and dredged, is the third point that Robinsar has normalized.
Previously, Robinsar had normalized rivers at two points in Kotasari Village, Grogol District.
“In Grogol District, precisely in Kotasari Village, I also normalized the river at two points that were silted,” he explained.
Robinsar also admitted that he is committed to tackling flooding after he is elected.
He plans to address flooding not only in the Kadipaten area but throughout the entire city of Cilegon.
“God willing, I will focus on ensuring that the community can be safe and free from flooding,” he concluded. (*)
