THE CILEGON GOVERNMENT MANAGED TO ACHIEVE A SCORE OF 90 PERCENT FROM THE MONITORING CENTER FOR PREVENTION (MCP)

CCN, Cilegon. The Cilegon Government managed to achieve a score of 90 percent from the Monitoring Center for Prevention (MCP) for monitoring the performance of corruption prevention. This value has increased from the previous 78 percent.

The Head Inspectorate of Cilegon, Mahmudin, stated that with this increase, the Cilegon managed to get the 3rd rank in Banten Province.

The MCP assessment covers eight areas of intervention, namely Planning and Budgeting of the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD), Procurement of Goods and Services, Licensing, APIP Supervision, State Civil Apparatus Management (ASN), Regional Tax Optimization, Regional Asset Management, and Regional Financial Governance.

Mahmudin explained that this achievement was proof of the Cilegon City Government’s commitment to continuing to strive to create a professional government.

Inspector Region II Inspector General of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Ucok Damenta, expressed his appreciation to the City Government of Cilegon for the success of the MCP which reached 90 percent. His party revealed that this ability is due to the synergy of all stakeholders, especially internal supervision through the regional inspectorate is working optimally.

Damenta also noted that good performance on the MCP inspectorate indicator shows that Cilegon Government is serious about dealing with problems.
