CCN. Cilegon 10-11-2022. The handover of the Head of Madrasah MAN 1 Cilegon coincided with Heroes’ Day. For approximately 8 years, MAN 1 in Cilegon (2014-2022) was led by H. Maimun, now there is a new leader who has the task of becoming the Head of MAN 1 in Cilegon, namely Hj. Maryati.
The replacement of the Madrasah Head was packaged in the Handover of the Head of MAN 1 Cilegon City. This activity was carried out in the Cilegon City MAN 1 hall and was attended by the Head of the Cilegon City Ministry of Religion, the Head of the Cilegon City Ministry of Religion Sub-section, the Cilegon City Ministry of Religion Section Head and staff, Supervisors, the entire Board of Teachers, the chairman of TU MAN 1 Cilegon as well as staff and committees.

In his remarks, H. Maimun hoped for the New Head to be able to lead the relay of leadership and existing responsibilities. “Day becomes night, night becomes day, it is sunnatullah. l and we are in the middle of space and time. From 2014-2022, for 8 years carrying out the mandate of the madrasa head assisted by several parties who have supported me spiritually and materially, I thank you and apologize if there are many shortcomings in leading. Hopefully, things that are lacking can be added and what is already good can be improved at MAN 1 Cilegon city in continuing the leadership of the Head of Madrasah,” he continued.
The new head, Hj. Maryati besides being a teacher is also a writer who has several books. Seen when he introduced himself in his speech “Every person has a time, every time there is a person. From the generation of the Head of Madrasah Ali Darda, Ahmad Basuni, Hj. Wiwin Darwini and H. Maimun, are my heroes. I ask for prayers and direction from the head of the Ministry of Religion of Cilegon and other parties, so that I can carry out the wheels of MAN 1 in Cilegon city well, I will continue things that are already good in the future, and add others programs that will advance this Madrasa, he said.
