CCN, Cilegon. Exciting news emerges from the realms of education and art as Sanggar Art Three from SMPN 3 Cilegon is set to represent Cilegon City in the prestigious ASEAN Panji Festival 2023.
This event, organized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology at Krida Budaya Malang, will span from Tuesday to Thursday, October 10-12, 2023.
Isro Mi’raj, the Chairman of Cilegon’s Regional Council, extends appreciation and encouragement to these accomplished students. Despite financial constraints, Isro hopes that the enthusiasm of the students, teachers, and coaches will propel them to participate in this event. He firmly believes that their participation will bring honor to Cilegon City and the province of Banten. (09-10-2023)

The ASEAN Panji Festival 2023 is part of the National Cultural Week organized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology across four regions of Indonesia, including Malang.
Through national selection, students affiliated with Sanggar Art Three from SMPN 3 Cilegon will present a traditional performance known as “ubrug.” They have been preparing since August for this event and proudly stand as the sole representatives of Banten Province in this prestigious competition.
Edi Febriadi, the Supervisor of the Extracurricular Arts Program at SMPN 3 Cilegon, seeks prayers and support from the Cilegon community for the 15 students who will participate and perform in the ASEAN Panji Festival. He expresses gratitude to the Chairman of Cilegon’s Regional Council for symbolically sending them off to bring honor to Cilegon in this event and hopes that they will give their best performance, becoming a source of pride for Cilegon.
