They held the Haflatul Wada’ event at the Islamic Center Cilegon. During the event, awards were also presented to ten outstanding students in the fields of Mathematics, Science, and Social Sciences (IPS). This special moment is not only a farewell to the students’ journey in the madrasah but also a moment that will leave a lasting impression in their memories and hearts. May all the efforts and sacrifices made during their three years of studying at MAN 1 Cilegon become valuable assets for a bright future.
The Haflatul Wada’ event, which is an annual program at MAN 1 Kota Cilegon to bid farewell to Grade XII students, was successful. However, there was an interesting change this year. The event was not held in the courtyard of MAN 1 Kota Cilegon as usual but took place at the Islamic Center with full support from the committee of MAN 1 Kota Cilegon.
The event was attended by 214 students divided into two majors, namely Mathematics, Science, and Social Sciences (MIPA) and Social Sciences (IPS). Haflatul Wada’ is an important moment in their lives, marking their departure from the madrasah and preparing them for a higher journey.
In her speech, Mrs. Hj Maryati, as the head of MAN 1 Kota Cilegon, conveyed high hopes to the graduating students this year. She wished for them to pursue higher education and secure good and blessed jobs for those who wish to work. Mrs. Hj Maryati also emphasized the importance of continuous learning and becoming alumni who are proud and uphold the alma mater’s values.
“The event also serves as a valuable moment for the teachers and educators to continuously improve the quality of education. The head of the madrasah hopes that MAN 1 Kota Cilegon can progress not only in non-academic fields but also in the academic field. Some of our current programs include My Rays, research, and Olympiads,” added Mrs. Hj Maryati.
“With the change of venue to the Islamic Center for the Haflatul Wada’ event, the students and all participants can experience a more solemn and profound atmosphere. This event is expected to be a precious moment that marks the beginning of their immersion in the community,” added Mrs. Hj Maryati.
