CCN, CILEGON – In anticipation of the 2024 General Election, the Cilegon City Election Commission (KPU) has distributed C-Notification letters to sub-district level Election Committees (PPK). Urip Haryantoni, Head of the Technical Nomination Division of the Cilegon City Election Commission, revealed that the C-Notification letters arrived on Thursday night, February 8, 2024, at the Cilegon City Election Commission.
Urip emphasized that the distribution of C-Notification letters to the 8 sub-districts in Cilegon City began on Friday night, February 9, 2024, and reached every neighborhood in Cilegon City by Saturday (10/2/2024).
The distribution process was carried out gradually, covering sub-districts, neighborhoods, up to the level of the Polling Station Organizing Groups (KPPS).
“We are making efforts to ensure that all voters receive the C-Notification letters and the necessary information to exercise their voting rights accurately,” said Urip Haryantoni in an interview on Friday night (9/2/2024).
Urip also emphasized the importance of active participation by the community in the general election and invited every individual to vote wisely according to their conscience.
In his interview, Urip stated that the number of Permanent Voter List (DPT) in Cilegon City reached 324,562 people, reflecting the KPU’s commitment to ensuring high participation in the democratic process.
“The smooth and secure distribution of C-Notification letters is a concrete step in ensuring transparency and participation in the election process,” said Urip.
The Cilegon City KPU called on the entire community to exercise their voting rights responsibly for a better future.
“We urge the public not to abstain from voting and to use their voting rights wisely,” he concluded.”
