CCN, Cilegon. After the fire on KMP ROYCE 1 that occurred in the waters around Tempurung Island, Merak waters, on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at around 3:45 PM WIB, Puskesmas Grogol deployed two ambulance units and 8 medical personnel to assist the victims.
According to a report from the Cilegon Health Office, the victims received medical attention quickly and received the necessary treatment. In addition, the Puskesmas Grogol medical team also provided psychological support to help the victims overcome post-incident trauma.
The KMP ROYCE ship fire incident caused significant material losses. Until now, the exact cause of the fire is still under investigation by the authorities.
