CCN, Cilegon, Saturday, June 22, 2024 – A meaningful night in Kampung Linggar Jati witnessed the Ubrug Cilegon art performance featuring the play “Awug-awug”. This event was held at Padepokan Pusaka Tunggal as a tribute to the late Maulana Malik Ibrahim, a talented young artist who brought fame to Cilegon with his work.
This performance captivated the audience with a strong storyline and excellent presentation. “Awug-awug” not only provided entertainment but also conveyed various social and cultural issues that are currently trending in society. Each scene in this performance was depicted with detailed and meaningful nuances, immersing the audience in the storyline.
The success of this event was certainly due to the hard work of the solid production and aesthetic teams. Ahdi Z. Amri, the production leader of Ubrug Cilegon, expressed his gratitude. “We are very grateful for the support of the entire team and the community. The actors’ performances, supported by impressive makeup and costumes, further enriched the ambiance of the show. The makeup team, consisting of Deta, Titi, and Imel, successfully brought the audience to feel the thick traditional atmosphere. Meanwhile, the beautiful music led by Orro Band added to the richness of the performance’s atmosphere. The event’s success was also due to the hard work of the production team comprising Ahdi, Ayat, Riris, Fajrin, Tamam, Yana, and Aman, who ensured that every technical aspect ran smoothly. Additionally, the close collaboration with the aesthetic team and actors, including Wawan, Faldi, Opank, Tompel, Yoga, Dedi, Silvi, Ikbal, and Rizqi, brought each character to life with full dedication.

The event also began with a lifetime achievement award presentation to the family of the late Maulana Malik Ibrahim and a Rampak Silat performance by the children of Padepokan Pusaka Tunggal, showing great appreciation to all parties involved.
