CCN-Serang. The English Language Alumni Association (IKABRIS) of UNTIRTA held a grand reunion and some event, along with the inauguration and handover of the IKABRIS UNTIRTA management positions for the 2023-2027 period.
The event, which took place at Le Semar Hotel in Serang City, was attended by various university officials, cross-generation alumni, and the UNTIRTA English Students Association.
During the event, Chief Executive of IKA FKIP UNTIRTA, Dr. Erwin Salpa Riansi, emphasized the importance of IKABRIS as a bridge between departments at FKIP UNTIRTA and the need for synergy with other IKA majors.
Professor Yudi Juniardi emphasized the importance of alumni data collection and the need for alumni to become excellent by conducting research and social activities.
Meanwhile, Head of the UNTIRTA English Language Education Department, Rahman Hakim, urged alumni to collaborate with the department to procure TOEFL certification and assist in making UNTIRTA English Education accreditation superior.
And also the incoming Chair of IKABRIS, Fahmi Islami, expressed his appreciation to the mentors who had made IKABRIS a gathering place for alumni across generations and stressed the need for innovative and comprehensive work programs to increase the organization’s existence beyond the campus environment. The event concluded with the breaking of the fast together.
